OK,some of the latest work-the Nebulosa oscura. This is the Spanish for Dark nebula , but I like how it sounds in Spanish, so didn't change the name.Timber is Beech- stained, since it wouldn' t ebonize.Sorry about the shots - the yours truly is absolutely useless with a camera

Oooooow LOVE this work Artesano! There's something so expansive about your work, and it's got such a strong sense of the skeletal too. All aspects very striking-including the colour. Clever!!

excellent piece Ivan as always, beautiful continuity of line, the 'voids' and how you have joined them together, very easy on the eye
and the presentation (4posts and plinth) works really well ,
what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?

Beautiful! The unfurling/cloaked eagle? Love the abstraction in your work with elements of realism. Seems to work everytime

Interesting pieces Artesano.
With your last one, 55cm Ash, is the ball and claw all one piece of wood or has it been cut, then shaped, then joined?
If all one...how do you get those angles between the claw and ball so smooth? So accurate?"Ya cant trust a pig with watermelon ya know"

have been wrestling with some big lumps of metal for the last couple of months,
decided I needed a break and work with something a little softer
here's a couple of reclining figures in red cedar........much softer
what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?
