    Default My carvings

    I have already posted these pictures in introducing section, but will post it here too.
    Started with simple picture frame


    Contiuned with cutting board.


    Then first carving on lathed work aka bowl.

    Then i tried to make something beutiful and useful- phone holder.

    Now working on round tea table. I have already done legs(in picture they are not ready)

    Great work, Vilks. I have been playing around with an idea of combining turning and carving for a platter and your work has given me renewed interest in completing the designs.

    Hardest part to carve turned piece is marking. One wrong line and it looks like crap.
    Forgot to say. Everything except phone holder(it is from lime, if its right name) is made from Baltic birch

    Nice work Vilks. I particularly like the idea of the phone holder. Might give that a try myself sometime. Thanks for the inspiration.
