carvings
My visit into this section the other day has revived me of some Australian memories.
I seem to recall that the waterfront at Lake Entrance, Victoria, has a row of carvings (6 ft high) which I assumed were machine made?
Do machine carvings count?woody U.K.

In my humble opinion, the end result is what it's all about.....something of beauty/artistic signifigance revealed by removing wood from original stock. The method of removal of little importance except to the "remover" what matter if it be a knife, gouges, chisels, grinders, chainsaws, or an axe, as long as the result is pleasing to the artist and his audience?
