Another cheese board
I guess the Covid-19 activities might have had a bit of influence on the design!!!
I think the wood is Huon. That's what it was sold to me as. It works like Huon but I have lost all sense of smell after teaching Plastics for over 30 years, so I can no longer get the pleasure of that buttery smell.

Very nice and simple. I like the grape detail.

Interesting contrast between a fairly simple (but well executed) board, and then suddenly your eye catches the delicate detail in the grapes.
Are the edges mitred or square? The shadow seems to suggest mitred. Now proudly sponsored by Binford Tools. Be sure to check out the Binford 6100 - available now at any good tool retailer.

The edges of the leaves are set down from the board surface about 2mm using 2,3 and 5mm #3 gouges and slope down to meet the base of the grapes. The highest grape is level with the board and the rest work down from there. I'm not quite sure about any mitres you are asking about. I hope this answers your question.

Sorry I was referring to the edges of the board, have they been cut with a taper on the side?
