Default Just a couple of fun ones.

Getting a bit quiet around here so I thought I'd post a couple of fun carvings I finished.
The " Mr Vino" wall mask is in camphor laurel and the fish reel is an old broken spinning reel and jelutong, the wave base is pine.

    very nice.

I like the originality of the walking fish with the lure. Top marks, something different.

Thanks Star, I was thinking of entitling the fish one " chasing the bait"

Thanks. The fish+reel is a good bit of innovation.

Poor Mr. Vino. Methinks, far, far too many afternoons in Watson's/Carleton/Melb.
I regret that I was unable to follow in his footsteps.
A bottle with an old friend, 15 years after the fact, was a treat.

Fun one's always make me smile! Your fish is a beauty...very clever. Well, I guess he'd get pretty wound up with a hook in his mouth! Lol! I love fun carvings!

Thanks for the comments folks, RV ha ha, yes Mr Vino does like a drop or two too many, a bit like his creator sometimes
