    Default Turned and carved sculpture

    BobL's photo filing discipline reminded me to finish transferring some old photos from my laptop to Mac iphoto and start to put some order into my files....anyway came across these showing another experiment of mine using different techniques.It was a fun exercise and it made the other half happy as it was company for her "chook" collection.     Hi springwater & RufflyRustic, thanks for the Three separate units make up the "sculpture" a supporting ring, a thin walled turned conical bowl and the hen. My wife commissioned a second one for a friends 50th and I made several mini eggs and each one of my wife's craft group individually decorated an egg to complete the present.

    RV size is around 200mm (8") dia. and 200mm high, top of nest is 120mm high. Kerry
