Very nice work mate. I've never tried a piece that size. I'm actually kind of lost as to where to start but I'm definately going to give it a go. Keep us posted on your progress. Looking forward to seeing her finished.

Update
just finished posting on the wood nymph. She is coming along nicely. Check out her pics at The Midnight Carver
I was able to get the the sanding phase tonight.

Interesting piece. Thanks for sharing the process. As I said earlier, I've never tried anything on that scale but I think I'm going to have to give it a go soon. I really appreciate your taking the trouble to give a step by step. So much more helpful than just a finished shot.
