A fish
I found this old post in the backyard and decided to have a look inside, one thing led to another and I made a fish!
Not exactly a grand sculpture, but its the
first time Ive ever made anything non-functional so thought I share.
The timber is very nice so I might try to do something else with the remainder.

Nice abstract fish, the timber is a nice color with a good grain so yeah, I'd be using it again.

I always find it remarkable how much can be left out and yet the viewer's mind knows immediately what the subject is.
Great fish and a useful wood.

A fish
Thanks for the comments. I gave the fish to my dad who is a fishing nut. He seemed to like it.
