Thread: Inspired by scrimshaw

May not be the right thread for this but I will take head if any complaints
I have had made a croquet mallet but wanted to personalise it as I had it made to my specifications
I use camel bone for collars on hiking poles etc. .I have always like scrimshaw but as I wanted to have my initials on a mallet I ha made it had to be identical so I got in touch with a industrial engraver most engravers had contacted said they couldn't do the job.
the result is a ebony mallet head 2 inch square x 11 inches in length with the head weighing 2lb 14 ounces .
