Really like this project a lot, also the workbench backdrop.

Oh thanks artful bodger, there’s still a couple of months until it all needs to be done and i’ll need very second. I had some training as a painter but i’m not sure it was really what you’d call training, I was just left to do my own thing and sculpture came a bit later

I enjoy the developmental illustrations.
Maybe some beholders aren't interested but the production processes always fascinate me.
Long, long time since I have seen that table.
I don't have an example to post. The American cartoonist, Walt Kelly, drew a strip with some Louisiana/Florida swamp characters.
The central figure was a possum named POGO ("We have met the enemy and he is us").
I can recall seeing drawings of a tricycle and a child's wagon. The wheels were as if you had made them for WK to draw.

Thanks for that Robson, good to hear from you. I didn’t know of Walt Kelly, so did a bit of research...what a wonderful illustrator...so very talented...could probably draw anything at will
Is this something like you remember?

Arh yeah...I’m rather limited in metal working skills ....a hacksaw, file and hammer makes a crank and axle assembly...a most simple engine. A small but very important step!

Just a little sign post that won’t mean a lot to you but means more to me...it says I’m closer to where I want to be.
