A little Huon Pine diversion from the main task. They’ll be incorporated into one of the versions. I thought I was done after doing over a thousand but I suppose another thirty six won’t do any harm.

Meanwhile, I’ve been salting the copper spokes and progressively fumigating the wheels by propping them over a shallow bath of ammonia in a sealable container pinched from the kitchen

I know 90 and 45 have their place but venturing into compound angled curves is far more exciting

All the wheels done bar one which is having a meeting with ammonia at the moment.

And the frame/forks just about done except one which I intentionally made more on the wild side to test my resolution.
