Having a laugh
This just appealed to me. It's a noisy Minor, who has crashed through the kitchen window. Hense , the buckled beak, and popped eyes, and the raised feet. He has been cut in half ,and magnets have been inserted to pull him together. He is on, in, through the window above the sink. I carved him ,and a lady painted him for me. He is carved from Jelutong.IMG_0719.JPGIMG_0720.JPG

Fantastic!
That is a very original idea, well done.
I am of the opinion that humour is a very under rated and underused ingredient in art and sculpture and it's great to see someone use it.

Wonderful work Hungry, perhaps there's a little something missing, maybe? I once had the rewarding experience of nursing a young bird through its window hitting daze until it came to and flew away.
Whole heartedly agree Bodgy, although I think there's more humour contained in art than people know.

Gentlemen, I can not take credit for the idea, i took it from a carving magazine, as well as another with a mouse playing a violin, that i will post once my son has reduced the photo.
