Thread: Looking for wood carver in Perth Australia.

I am looking for a passionate wood carver who maybe interested in taking on a small project. I am after a rather large document box (about 50cm x 40cm x 10cm say - more detailed dimensions at a later date). However would like the corners showing the dove-tailed joinery (exterior) and have a replica engraving of a picture (a wedding bouquet to be precise - lots of roses and lillies) on the lid. Have no idea on type of timber at this stage, but Im guessing something of deep red medium hard wood (if that type of timber exists). No work on interior required. Also an idea on price would be good. I live in Perth, WA so would prefer someone closer to here (postage expenses and communication purposes), if anyone can help in any way that would be appreciated.
