Netsuke Project
Hello Friends, I am looking to meet someone who has skill in carving fine Netsuke, in bone horn or ivory.
Does anyone know of anyone who might fit this discription? I am willing to pay well for the skill as it is for a specal project!

Welcome to the forum markobass..
perhaps if you were to provide some more details of what you have in mind..
eg, subject matter, (figurative,animal etc)..is it to be used as a toggle (traditional)..etc
what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?

Hi Markobass,
If we knew where in Aust. you were, maybe we could help you a lot better.
There is a Lady in Melb, Susan Wraight, & She is World Renound In the Netuske Carving. She has made many pieces for the Japanese Emperor, I think I have that right.
He has since passed on.Regards,
