    Default Pergola

Took about a day using coastal cypress pine. Halved and quartered some of the curved limbs from a tree we felled earlier in the year.

Carefull, its addictive. Bolted lower sections and mostly coach screws up top. I wonder if anyone this year will think to give me a box of coachscrews for xmas?

I was actually considering that - not much time extra i suppose - just with my young boys to be sure to climb and hang off the thing I needed safety first.

One of my neighbours built his own place - his latest creation (pictured) is all wooden joinery. He even had Wandergesellen to help.
