I have found a few here in the UK but it would take a loooooong walk to gather a stash like the one in the vid.
What is the most common wood? Here it would be Hazel or Ash.

Here it would be hazel too, strangled by honeysuckle. As they both grow quite fast, it may be possible to grow some curled sticks, no ?

Meanwhile down here in Tasmania we have a scrubby forest undergrowth called dogwood. It gets strangled by a clematis (vine type thing).img020.jpg This stool that I have kept has the dogwood legs, turned Huon pine seat and stainless steel footrests/stays.
By the way Copeau, like your blog just wish I could read the text. (don't talk or read French unfortunately)

Brilliant idea ! Love the mix between the rough bark of the doglegs feet and the top.
Keep trying to grow clematis for its lovely flowers but the goats like it so much it is always eaten in the end !

About the blog, I didn't find a simple way so far to make it in both languages. Maybe a way would be to create an other similar one with a link to each other...if i can export the articles easily. I'll keep you posted.
I gave a try to "google-translate" it but i must admit the translation is sometime very approximative. Thanks anyway !
