    Default Punk Rocker Lamp.

I had a fibre lamp sitting around and got the idea to change it a bit, I saw some old pics of punk rockers and it reminded me of my late teens and the punk era listening to bands like the Ramones, the Jam and the sex pistols. So I thought I'd try carving a punk rocker from some jelutong I had left. I had to glue two pieces together and cut out the hollow ( in hind sight I should have cut out the hollows then glued it together). It gave me a chance to use my flexcut knives which I needed some practice with so I whittled the face with them. Taped the lamp fibres together and pushed them through a slit I'd cut in the top.
Had a lot of fun dressing him up, my wife's a bit peeved because I stole one of her earings and used her folk art paint, she'll get over it.
Anyway there it is, the punk rocker lamp.
