    G'day all,

I'm starting to get myself set up for carving Tiki's ... probably will be a mixture of smaller idols and then large post/pole form ranging in sizes - I am looking at a basic set of the Pfeil chisels that contain some basic sized gouges as I already have some decent Irwin Marples straight chisels.

Does anybody here carve Tiki or Polynesian styled masks or idols? If so I would like to discuss techniques and sources for furthering my own knowledge on the methods and execution.

    Best regards, Simon.
