    Default First Sculpture

    Hi, my name is Andy.

I'm a new member from the USA. This is a picture of my first sculpture I'm working on. I guess it's an assembled piece? A robot? It will be squarish with holes through the head and heart. My interests are woodcarving and woodenboats. Thanks Andy.

It does look like a robot! It's made from old woodturning squares that I've had around 20yrs. I'll keep you updated!
    Thanks for the Welcome. Andy.

Hi. I'm planing each turning square by hand. It's more therapy than elbow grease. A real connection for me!

Hey Cliff, which robot on Robostory does he look like????

    Thanks Andy

    G'Day All.
I've made progress. The turning squares are smooth and ready for sanding. The head and chest have their pierced holes. The wood is still irregular and I think it should be joined with dowel rods. Primitive! What do you think? Andy USA
