    Default From start to finish

This is from start to finish a new carving. It is a continuous ribbon that can not be disentangled.
The height is 60 cm and it is made in lime tree wood.

Great 3D exercise with good figuration and personality. The only shame is the amount of that beautiful lime wood you had to tuirn to shavings for the guinea pig hatch.

just great idefix and thanks for the WIP pics
I reckon all wood carvers should have a go (at least once) at a mobius/ribbon type piece,
just to see how tricky these things can be, keeping the line and thickness continuous and uniform is a real challenge, aaand it has to work from 360 deg..well done

what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?

I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
