Snow peas? Yummy. I buy lots and share them with my bird dogs. Chesapeake Bay Retrievers ( the 4x4 of bird dogs). Big 40kg+ and hard and tough and they will work until they fall down, tired. Thought one was about to croak, sat down beside her and had a smoke, waiting for her to die. Nope. Just pooped out.

Yeah, winter is tuning up. Can't believe how fast some trees and wild shrubs are coloring up. One of the best "drives" on earth is the Ovens Valley in autumn. Holmes River valley here by 20 minutes from the house.

I use styrofoam planting blocks = 9 x 5 x 340ml holes. They beat the Hello out of any kinds of ditzy gardeners' potty stuff. $4.10 each. Half a dozen of those and you can grow anything for market.

your Autumn sounds like a real treat. The closest we get to that sort of sight is the very occosional flame tree flowering dotting the rainforest with brilliant red inflorescence.
