These first pieces are based on seeds, shells and sea creatures, carved in Huon. They range from final sanding stage to final shaping.

Constrained wave
With this last piece, I'm playing with the idea of locking some of the dimensions in a plank shape only working within those boundaries. Not entirely happy with it so far but there are some parts that work.

Wonderful. So close to abstractions that there's lot's left for my head to toss around!
The undulating folds in the first group have a strong 'marine' signature.

Wow....like those "bony structures" , Iggy - and there is somethihg dangerous about them especialy the last two - like something that may be lurking under a rock , you know

Interesting, very organic looking - looks more like something you found rather than made. Very obviously a power carving job ,shapes like this are a nightmare with edge tools !
