    Default Wood carved tibet looking man. Don't know what it is. Any ideas?

    Hi. I bought this at a sale recently, and am trying to find out any info I can. It's flattened at the topaz if it could hold a lice of glass and be a small table or something, but am not sure. I thought this might be a good place to start, if no one minded helping me out. I shot a few pictures. It stands about 20" tall, and us extremely heavy. It has what appears to be a signature on the bottom, but I don't know what it's supposed to represent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The loin-cloth reminds me of Central American Inca or Aztec.
    GoGuppy has the idea = you're expected to put something on top.
