wooden carving chops
Hi Everyone,
This is my first time in putting a post on so I hope I,m doing it right, I'm a carver and I'm trying to find some plans to build a set of wooden carving chops for doing round carvings, can anyone help me on this one.

Wooden carving chops? Do you mean a clamping device for round carvings?
Holding devices for carvings vary greatly, from as simple as a sandbag to very expensive custom built devices.
Pls clarify what you are looking for, and/or what you intend to do.

As mentioned, there are numerous solutions for holding most types of carvings and it really depends on what you already have available, or are willing to spend.

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the info, the carving tips site by Greg Wilkinson and his easley carvin vice is just what I've been looking for. I have asked Greg if he has plans for it?
