CJ - your post demonstrates conclusively that you have the kind of mind that can deal with complex plot lines and therefore have all the right credentials to be an important contributor to The Rip In The Fabric Of The Universe. I look forward with interest to your first contribution to the on-going saga!

Driver/Col, we have read someof the posts in this Forum's solution to insomnia, aka "Torn Genes/Jeans" or something similar.
Let us say conclusively that we are not mad and that the fish in our ear (note we did not slur our consonants to a dangerous position/predilection) helps our translations very well. We are currently working on the design for 42 fiords for Peru if Stephen Hawkins can devise an appropriate time continuim so long as we do not have to cope with Her Ladyship's flying trousers. We are sorry, we will read that again, again. Fortunately we are all individuals, except for that first baseman, who is he.
Sorry, HH, we cannot be teased. Life is far too serious.
We volunteer to send three or even four copies of CD's to requesting members rather than having to read this Forum's spent version of Ripping Yarns to be able to make an exceptional contribution (aka rational/sane/meaningful posting) on that other fred. Truly, you have misunderstood our abilities, we could only make a meaningful contribution and why spoil all that has gone before?
Do you think that in the light of scooter's last two posts that he is eligible to become a member of the Spanish Inquisition team, altering his final versions for questions?
Gentelmen, we have assumed you are at least 6' 3" in our comments. We hope none have gone over your heads.

Er - I might have been wrong about you, CJ.

    Back on-topic:

Tonto, the disks arrived in today's mail. Thanks, mate! I'll copy them over the weekend and mail them on to Doughboy (Pete) on Monday.

Pete, I'll pm you when they're in the mail.

Could I also have a set.
I am able to copy and send on - however I use a Mac [yeah - I know and I don't wish to start the usual as this is serious]
I've looked at the Stuff the XP blokes use and haven't found a Mac suitable, non buggy OSX3.9 type
    - Will the disks work with QuickTime?
    Regards,
    Bob

Some will work in Quicktime (e.g. Zed's jointer knives works on my version) but most won't unless you download the latest codecs for the QT program. If you don't you'll only get sound, or maybe just a picture without sound, that sort of thing.

On the QT site, there's a link to DivX Player for Macs. That will play everything (or at least it should) so maybe better if you download that.
If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

My comment relates to the fact that I am banned from the Fabric of the Universe thread.

No - the definitive list that Scooter organised is a few posts above. You should probably try sticking with it, otherwise you will just create more confusion.

I haven't had a chance to watch all the videos yet but what I've seen so far is very impressive. Congratulations to everyone who has been involved in the production - especially Gumby for the original inspiration. Great work.

    Gumby,

Just a thought but could they all be burnt to one DVD? I've got one at work with a very fast Internet link & have downloaded most of the videos. (Very entertaining by the way. Great to see others workshops, tips, suggestions etc.)

That way, any of us with a dvd player could get the lot at once. I wouldn't mind being one to distribute them.

    Cheers,
    Keith
