You don't have the CODEC required to play the video, just the sound. Do a search for klcodec274f.exe and install it.

The codecs may be different. I did the jointer files a wmv and the other as an avi file. I think Groggy's solution will sort you out. From now on I hope to use the avi as the standard. The finishing vids are avi's.

I noticed that there's an upgrade for the Windows Movie player out as well. Version 10 I think. Could be worth getting that.

Gumby, I'm downloading it now and will not seed it, instead I'll just host this one on FTP and see how it goes.

No probs. I'd be interested in the FTP stats as against the torrent.

As it turns out, i thought I only had 3 GIG per month and nearly $hat myself this morning when I saw I'd used up 1.5 already  But I've got 10Gig so I'm fine for now. I can seed for quite a while, until others get seeding. Then I can start part 2 etc.

I'm going to try something else, I'll set three PC's downloading across the internet and sharing internally across the network at home. I may be able to catch and overtake the others - should be interesting.

Result: Quite good, I caught the others at 83.4% (they were at about 46% when I started). This is very subjective though, as the others were sharing their files with me until I caught up.

Thanks. I knew it would be something silly like that. But WHY does it have to be so hard.....I mean who (if they aren't a nerd) would think of looking for something called "klcodec274f"???
    Cheers

Gumby, have you considered putting the current links in your signature file?

Alternatively, could the Sponsor set up a page for these links (also perhaps for the useful links that were compiled by one contributor recently), so we can all find them quickly from time to time.
    Cheers

Links for all the videos are available in the Video forum. We have locked that thread so that you can't add posts. That way it's easy to find the new video details as they come on board. I suggest you add that thread to your subscription lists. Then, when it's updated, you'll be nitified via email (as long as you have that option enabled in your user CP)

Probably my fault, but when I tried to subscribe it said I couldn't because the thread is closed.

If you are clicking "show new posts" then when the video thread is updated with new content, it will pop up again in the list. It isn't that hard.
