Thread: Huon Pine in Melbourne?

The Woodsmith in Lusher Road Croydon always has Huon, all depends what sizes you are seeking etc. Len's stuff is always good and dry but it is usually cut to suit wood turners, ie rounds and squares but he sometimes has boards of blocks for carvers
He is only open on Fridays and the first Saturday of each month, reopens after the New Year break on the 18th January.

best place to buy it is off the docs in strahan or Bernes mill at Lynchord who supply the retail shop on the docs, best timber and best prices...

or call and ask for some pics of whats in stock, better yet take a trip...

hahah yeah, after a few trips to tassie when i lived in Qld i used to get huon sent up there..just call Dianne on 03 6471 7190 and she wil ship you whatever u want, not the same as seeingand smelling it but better price and best choice of timber, she will probably take pics of whats in stock for ya if ya want mate..and yep if ya really interested in huon get down there to Bernes mill...u wont belive it..!

no woories Jack if ya down here do so mate, i wnated people to knwo u get good Huon vai phone and post if ya need it, just dont go through the Timber Tyrants ie..Forestry..
