pen & handle blanks swap
Hi all
Im in sunshine coast QLD
have some silky oak, purple heart, jackaranda, ng rosewood, gidgi, banksia ,aust red ceda, and hairy oak swap for wood to make box

all those blanks and pieces weigh 2kg something roughly equivalent in weight. Not hard to get along with, what have you got

huonpine,silky oak,tassie oak,osage orange,blood wood,blackwood ,spanish cedar,pink ironbark,myrtle,myrtle burl,black wattle,camphor.stringy bark,musk,sassafrass,leatherwood bribie pine ,king billy pine, celery top,many others( what sizes, i have bandsaw and thicknesser.........bob

sassafras or black wattle sounds good never used them before as for sizes whatever

I would love some purpleheart I have some USA wood, Cherry and walnut and lots of other nice wood from US that some friends have given me if you want to trade

150 wide x 300 long x 120 deep by 12mm thick dont worry about base but a lid would be good, burl would be great too. pm me your address details and I'll post wood

Wood arrived on tuesday, looks good, alot of tearout your thickness blades may be getting dull. Run it through the drum sander came up a treat, l'll email you a pic when its finished

that would be great yell out if you need more, and where did you get the purpleheart going to get some to make a box,and yes my blades are rs, am going to buy some tungsten ones ....bob

swapped some qld maple for the purpleheart and some other timber about a year ago, from a wood machinest at caboolture
