What exactly are you talking about in regards to a a small amount?

Are you talking about one piece of the dimensions you mentioned?

    Cheers

Hey, I need to make 2 rails and 1 stretcher rail for a hall table. So either 1, 2, or 3 pieces that equate to those dimensions.(2 @ 700x60x20 and 1 @ 700x30x20, approx) Thanks heaps for your reply.

I've got Sheoak of the WESTERN OZ variety however getting it to you may be cost prohibitive based on usual courier experience from here!!

Just to throw my hat in the ring when you say sheOak whats it botanical name ?? reason being SheOaks up here in Newcastle don't have the red colours most Ppl think of, they're are actually brown ('cause it turns out there are actually swamp (Casuarina glauca) or River oaks (Casuarina cunninghamiana), we do however have Forest oak (Casuarina torulosa)

Its Allocasuarina fraseriana that we mainly use here in Perth. There are other varieties but some are too small to be worth milling and the straight trunked coastal has timber that isnt worth a pinch of the proverbial.

Another one of the good red sheoaks available on the east coast is the Rose Sheoak (Allocasuarina torulosa)
