    Default sheoak swap

    hey everyone
a big sheoak tree blew down in a recent storm and I'd like to swap some of it for
    3 DRY TURNING BLANKS
they dont have to be fancy just something I haven't turned before (which is alot because I'm new to turning)
    NO camphor lol

These are still green and still in whole log form. They came down some time in april (09) so are not dry.

I cant say which species but you may be able to tell from the pics.
you can PM me with a list of woods you are prepared to swap and we can work it out from there

    Scroll acroos for more pics

I live in lake cathie about 10 mins from port macquarie. Will drive to swap within 45 mins from my house, otherwise you pickup. No postage sorry (too heavy)

PS. sorry about the wide pics
PPS. the ends have been sealed after they were cut(hence the orange paint

Good offer - but Ballarat is

    Distance: 1339km Time: 13hr 32min (approx)

    just a bit too far

If you are ever down this way there is a bit of Blackwood with your name on it - just yell out.

    Cheers
    regards

Any idea what species it is? I'd like a small piece if it's something I don't already have
