Default Canberra Craft and Quilt Fair

Hey all you wood whispering women,

The Woodcraft Guild of the ACT will be having a stand at the Canberra Craft and Quilt fair between Thursday the 8th of August to Sunday the 11th August. We will be demonstrating and displaying everything that the guild can do and some of our female members will be demonstrating scrollsaw and marquetry and pyrography. We hope this stand will be a great success and we are able to do it again next year. Will post photos of the stand after the weekend but come and say g'day if you are there!

    Hi,
Good to meet you girls on the stand. I hope you can attract a few more females to the wood working hobbies over the weekend.

    Regards
    Hugh

    Thanks.

It was also great to catch up from a forum member. It also proves the forum works for advertising!!!!!

Don't forget we will be at the Working With Wood show at Exhibition Park in Canberra on Friday the 30th of August to Sunday the 1st of September.

Just a photo of the stall we had at the craft fair.

Was great and met lots of wonderful people.

We had a scroll saw cutting quilt pattern marquetry and were telling people it was just a sewing machine but instead of a needle, it has a blade and cuts!

Kept the dust down and I even ended up on TV for 3 seconds . . in the background . . .it was so worth it, though!

    Hi,
Where's all the hot talent that was operating it when I saw it?

    Regards
