    Default Christmas project

Since I've annoyed all my friends with my project, I thought I'd show it off to people who will understand my enthusiasm.

I've got a lot of paperbacks and commercial bookcases never have enough shelves.

So, over xmas I built 7 bookcases from mountain ash with adjustable shelves.

    Nice

have you screwed the cases together, or is each one free standing?

Brilliant! Especially the bit about annoying your friends I wonder how long before you need to build an 8th Must be a great feeling having your Library accessible, sorted and usable.

    cheers

Ian, they are all free standing

Wendy, yes it feels great to have my books accessible again. For six years most of them were packed away.

Fantastic work, Blisters. I like the way you've put all the tan books together (maybe a series?).

I love a room full of books. Feels like a room full of old friends.
