100 tooth saw blade anyone?
I'm looking for a 100 tooth saw blade - any size up to 9" (smaller is preferable though). Will not be used for sawing anything! So it can even be very rusty or have buggered teeth. I'll be using it for indexing to mark scales on handwheels (in 100 divisions). So the only thing REALLY important is that it has 100 teeth exactly It turns out that the shape of sawteeth is the ideal shape for rapid indexing for this purpose.
Will post pictures of me doing it when I get going.Cheers,
Joe

Jeez I dunno how you'll go there Joe. 100 teeth on a 10" blade would be hard enough to find. Maybe there's a very specialised blade out there somewhere......

You should be able to find a blade for cutting aluminium with 100 teeth but probably no smaller than 10". I picked one up from Bunnings for trimming aluminium masts tube. However, it also leaves an immaculate finish when cutting hardwood.
Irwin list one.

If this is too big in diameter you could also try a slitting saw. something like this slitting saw which has a much smaller diameter of 63mm:

Maybe you could go back to geometry and divide a line into 25 segments. Then apply that to a cord that covers 90°????
Beware it's been 42 years since I took Geometry during year 10.
