    G'day all. Got a great pickup today. 2 slabs of English oak, air-dried under cover for 6 years. 1 is about 3mx1.2mx60mm thick and t'other is same length x 700mm x 60mm thick. 50 bucks each. The guy had a slab of camphor laurel about 2m x 620mm x 30mm. Wanted 160 bucks but I couldn't afford it.

    Sold 8 of my Adirondack chairs this week (to 3 people, 2 of whom will be repeat custom) so my little cottage business is taking off.

    Hello Mike, good to see you having fun and selling some of the chairs. Please dont throw out any of the english oak, any "offcuts" about 100mm square are food for shallow bowls or plates, you know were to send it, along with the Huon, King Billy and Leatherwood
