2 part epoxy
Hi,
I found these 2 part epoxies in Ebay
Epoxy Table Top Resin, 2 Gallon Kit, Crystal Clear, Includes Part A & B 135368 | eBay
less than $5 US! and many more of similar pricing/volume. on US EBAY.
A few questions for the experts if I may...
1) anyone used this stuff here in OZ
2) do you know if its genuine? for $5 US shipped to OZ sounds a bit weird?
3) Anyone know where 4l (1 gallon) suppliers are in Oz? the price differential is huge.
4) is this stuff allowed to be shipped via mail to Oz (Not familiar with international shipping or even OZ rules and regs..
Sorry about which forum I used. there doesnt seem to be a "resin" forum....
All info much appreciated. ta..

The manufacturer certainly appears genuine, here's their website where the same stuff is much more expensive - https://www.fgci.com/wps/portal/c/ab...vZ0FBIS9nQSEh/
I notice that the seller has a number of similar products listed on eBay at equally crazy prices. You can't send a package of that size within the US, let alone to Australia, for anything like what he is charging for the product and postage. All of the sales for all of the epoxy products he has listed have been in the last few days so it would appear that none of the buyers have received their purchase yet.
I guess anything is possible, but I would be surprised if this is a genuine offer. So far he's collected US$1,934 from sales of his epoxy products. There's also the possibility that his eBay account has been hacked.
My advice would be to steer well clear.

yeah, you're probably right;
1) you get what you pay for
2) if its too good to be true....

Can I piggy back onto this and take it off topic just a little bit. I have just bought a tube to go into a glue gun for $20. It is not a two part being a single part and my question is what is the difference in performance between two part and one part. This stuff comes highly recommended by several commercial woodworkers for both internal and external use and apparently is none foaming.

Matt, it is a Soudal product called Purocol Express, I was away from my car and could not recall the name earlier on. I glued the side frame of a Morris chair with it today and if it fails Mrs P. will not be impressed as it is her chair or will be when it is finished.
