The great news to me is that Woodwork is still published
It was my favorite magazine but I haven't been able to get it for a couple of years and had given up hope.Cheers, Glen

Hi Derek,
Very nice, a huge resource.
But,... you do not have time for reading, back to the shed for you, there are too many projects on the go and I have a chair and a beverage just waiting for the WIPs.
I can watch people work all day if I have to.
Cheers
Pops

Derek
I agree it is a great magazine.
I grabbed a copy as soon as it came out as I was missing the first twenty issues, I hope more people buy it as this will encourage the publishers to start producing more than the current one issue per year.

Hi Nick
the magazine comes on four DVDs, amounting to around 30GB of data.
Each page of each issue is there as a JPG (each about 240kB in size and readable on an iPad via Apple's image viewer). Each issue is also there as a shockwave flash application (the size of the page files for the shockwave app varies from 2.2 to 5 MB depending on the amount of detail on the original page). The shockwave player operates within a web browser, so I don't see why it wont work on an iPad.regards from Alberta, Canada

Ian
Thanks
I've a couple of other old mags in PDF format which are easily read on the iPad. (when I can get it off my boy that is)
JPGs are definately viewable
One can only try and see if it works.
I see there is a link to post questions re the compilation - I might just ask.
Cheersregards
Nick

I can read the JPGs OK on my 10" tablet, but haven't been bold enough to try on my wife's iPad -- she's had it less than a week and it was a birthday presentregards from Alberta, Canada

Thanks
I received this response this morning:
"Thank you for your email. I'm sorry, no, the DVD's are PC and/or Mac compatable.
Our postage and handling rates to Australia are dependent on the actual charges of your order and are typically charged separately after the order is shipped."
I should have asked whether the files were readable, oh well. I also asked how much to ship, not super helpful.
Ian, how much did you pay for shipping?
regards
Nick
