    Default 5/8 Drill bit?

I though this would of been easy however after visiting the usual suspects today, I came away empty. Even online I'm having a tough time. So, can anyone recommend a place to get a 5/8 drill bit? It needs to be exact, not 16mm.

    Thanks in advance
    -Scott

Give Trade Tools a look-see. Don't think their website lists drill bits but they definitely stock several lines. Their own brand plus one or two others. They offered me a 5/8 reduced shank when I was looking for something under 16mm the other day.

I found one somewhere, not cheap.
I got it to drill holes in handles for 5/8 gouges, you want to borrow it?
I can post it down on loan.

    Default The 5/8".

    Hi Scott,
Try The Camberwell Market, this coming Sunday.
You just missed The HTPAA Tool Sale, at the Glenferry Primary School. could have bought them for a couple of $'s or less. It was on Sun. 11th. Nov.

I think I got mine from an Engineering supplies place.

I only every use it for drilling the holes in handles for 5/8 bowl gouges.

I have loaned it out for this before.
