Default Another addition to the shed

Just finished my new wood rack.

Based on a design in FWW - Tools & Shops 2006

Should tidy the place up a bit.

My word that is posh, beats the stacked in the corner system for sure.

A very good looking job, what materials did you use? plywood and MDF?

    cheers

    Big Shed,

exactly how big is that shed of yours?

You seem to be filling it up very quickly with all sorts of machines and storage racks...

Dave, the uprights are made up of 70x35mm pine combined with MDF, screwed and glued.
The MDF gussets were routed to a template and glued and screwed to the 70x35mm pine arms (570mm long, so the stick out 500mm from the front of the uprights.
I also fabricated 25x3mm brackets that hook over the top steel beam and are screwed on both side of the stud wall (which is lined with MDF both sides.
