ADELAIDE WOOD SHOW Cheap Tickets
Hi to all woodies wanting to attend the Adelaide Working with Wood Show.
I am seeking EXPRESIONS OF INTEREST ONLY in cheaper tickets for the Adelaide wood show in july.
THIS IS A NON PROFIT VENTURE!
if enough people are interested, & provided no Forum Administrators have no problem with me doing this, I will manage a group booking to get tickets for $7.00 for a one day ticket, any day of the show.
I propose to get expressions of interest first & then I will ask those interested to send me a check or money order & a stamped self address envelope to my address.
If we go ahead, we will be setting a deadline.
I will obtain the tickets & post them out.
Please Note. this thread is an Expression of interest only.
Thank you.

Count me in. I have been hanging out all year for the show and since I only discovered the forum 2mths ago I can see the plastic getting a hammering.
All those loverly tools everyone talks about.Don't force it, use a bigger hammer.
Timber is what you use. Wood is what you burn.

When I posted the thread, I sent a PM to the Administrator & ask them to check my thread. I also do not want to upset anybody, & from a legal stand point, it is simply a group booking discount. So far, they have not got back to me, but if there is a problem, we will simply not go ahead with it. This is why I have made it clear that at this point in time, this is an EXPRESSION OF INTREST ONLY.
To get a group discount, you must prebook 10 or more tickets. My usual group is 5 or 6 anyway, so with the few people that have responded so far, we will qualify for the discount.
It is not a huge saving, but it will nearly pay for the car parking, so it's worth looking at.
Hopefully, the Administrator will have a say on this threadwhen time permits, & then we will be clear.

Swifden... Yeh mate, the show grounds at Wayville. Most of my usual group come from the bridge mate, so don't be surprised if you bump into a few people you know. Do you know Hazel & Trevor out on Mannum Road? They don't know I doing this yet, But they will be there.

OK, I have had no objections, and I wasn't expecting any either.
THIS IS A NOT FOR PROFIT VENTURE, it is simply a group booking that I am prepared to manage.
This is also a not for loss venture, so I will need interested people to send me a stamped return addressed envelope so I can forward your tickets, along with a cheque or money order to cover your ticket/s
PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH!
The cost of the tickets are $7.00 per head and are valid for any single day of the Adelaide Working With Wood Show.
The deadline to get the money to me would be 29th June 2007.
If for any reason the deal falls through, I will return your funds to you.
Your tickets will be forwarded to you once I take delivery.
All interested parties, Please PM me for adress details.
Thank you

Woodbe, its only $10 & about $5 parking. The discount is not a lot, but a couple of interested parties are seeking 2 tickets, better than free parking.
If you have never been, you realy should go & have a look.
