Last here on 12 Dec 2007, you miss him quickly!
He last posted on 01 Nov though, so that would explain the apparent absence.

He is busy moving house.
Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

I reckon Reeves, Mrs Reeves and Lil Rory are busy settling in and setting up their cottage now, walking up the mountain behind his place, enjoying the views, the coolness, the beautiful tasmanian forest around his place, the peace, the birdcalls, sigh, kinda wish I was there too

The climate change would be a bit of a shock to the system. Migration around these parts tends to be in the opposite direction, especially with retirees.
Much like seppoland where the old codgers often migrate to Miami to get a bit closer to the equator.

Hi there,
Just reporting in that I had a phone call from Reeves tonight! Despite his location (somewhere south of Hobart) he's feeling on top of the world!! Loves the place, sounds like the locals are friendly, enjoys the weather (seriously), and was full of missionary zeal to have me up stakes. He reckons the timber is abundant for turning, which he was doing at a local timber museum. Sounds like the place quietens down over winter.
He's seen Tassie devils, but remains unimpressed with vegie eating wallabies.
Was good to have a yarn with him...
CheersAndy Mac

I tried to catch him when I was down there last weekend, but none of the locals I spoke to knew him. Glad to hear he is enjoying it, not surprised with the choice and abundance of timbers down there.
