Adjustable bookshelf hardware
Does anyone know of a supplier in Oz for these type of shelving hardware?
Leevalley call them pilaster strips, but other mobs, mainly int he UK call them recessed sdjustable bookcase shelves. The uprights are rebated about 5mm.
The main difference with the bunnings et al offerings is the slots are horizontal and have a smaller shelf support, instead of the vertical sltots and larger supports.

This type of shelf support is commonly used on metal shelving storage systems..
I have never seen it used on timber shelving..

Howard Silvers used to stock Knape & Vogt hardware, including those standards & supports in a variety of finishes. I got a bunch back when there was a Gowings Mitre10 shop in George St Sydney ( a few years ago) .
Rob Malson used to run it & he still has an on line store - mytoolstore.com.au - and may be able to source them for you.
Or ask your local non-Bunnies store to get them - I know Howard Silvers hardware division changed their name a few years ago, but I can't remember what to.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like howard Silvers became Artia - they have the stuff in their online cattledog. I'll give them a call and let you know.

Am assuming you intend to use on a furniture grade bookcase....in which case why not adopt the 5mm Dia 32mm centre hole system.... and if you rebate the support clips into the bottom of the shelf you see virtually nothing.
I have seen the strips you are looking at and the net result is far from appealing..
