Adjustable feet?
Hi All,
I'm from the States, but spent a couple of weeks in Melbourne back in the mid 1960's when my US Navy destroyer paid a visit on a break from the Saigon River.
Anyway, I'm going crazy trying to find some adjustable feet for use on furniture, cabinets, etc. I saw them somewhere (store, online, catalog???) a few years ago. Now that I have a project that needs them, I can't find them anywhere. I hoped maybe someone here would have an idea. They were probably about 3" long, made of brass, would screw to the outside of whatever cabinet or piece of furniture needed leveling, the foot would screw up or down for about 2" of adjustment to level the piece. Here's my attempt at a drawing of the thing.
If anyone has any idea where to get something like this (I've tried Rockler - no dice), I'll really appreciate it.
Thanks -- Pete

We can get them here but the ones I have seen fit inside the carcas usually with a false front to allow access.
One of the Australian Woodsmith mags had a plan for a cabinet utilising them (which I can't find now I want it) but given the magazine I would suggest that it would be available from J James.
Hafele would be another option.
LeeValley could be an option for you, they seem to have a lot of the unusual.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.
