Trav, I've got a gifkins with three different sized templates. I've seen all three of the jigs in action and the capability of the D4 leaves everything else for dead as far as capability. I understand that with the greater capability the complexity of setting up increases but I'd still love one
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Haven't had experience with Leigh but I've got 'the lot' gifting pack which includes variable spacers and all templates etc. it can do everything I need except half blind dovetails. I have a little Sherwood that only does half blinds so I'm all covered I think. Gifting is simple and easy to use.

Trav once you get yours setup I'd like to see it in action

Maybe we need to put the call out to a d4 guru in Canberra or passing through to educate us...

Or I can get off my backside and practice some more.

What the heck is this! The Canberra dovetail club? Looks like we're all on.

I have the D4R, but by golly it is complex. I went through the manual and watched the videos, but it's still in the box.

Watching first hand from someone who is proficient would be great. Corbs, looks like you might be it!

Evan, I'm far from proficient. I've watched someone else use one but haven't had the opportunity to play with one myself. Doesn't stop me from wanting one though (with the isolock templates)
