Aldi table saw blades
Been waiting for some time for someone to admit buying the set of 3 Aldi table saw blades, on sale a little while back. So far silence, so I guess I will have to put my hand up. Didn't know quite what to expect, but for $20.00 I thought it was not too much to lose if they turned out to be disappointing. To my very pleasant surprise, it's turned out to be the exact opposite. All 3 perform exactly as expected, with the 80 tooth blade chip-free on melamine particle board. Not able to comment on longevity yet, and I must admit that there is a high speed whine, but overall quite impressed for the outlay. I'm interested in anyone elses experiences.

I bought the 3 pack of 254mm blades, & have been using them on a Bosch GTS 10 XC. They have been quite acceptable blades.
I have a mate who is using a set on a Carbatec 10" sliding table saw. He reports no problems

Here we have Harbor Freight and they offer table saw blades. Normal price is $9.00. Sometimes on sale for $4.95. I have three or four.
When I am working with reclaimed wood, I'll put one of them in the table saw. Every time I see sparks, I just saved another $50 to $100. I laugh and mutter to myself, "I love these nail finder blades."

I have some cheapie 9 1/4 blades for the same reason. They leave a rubbish finish but tremendous piece of mind when roughing out timber of dubious origin.
