    "In the wrong business…….."

You bet - You, me and any other reasonable, non brain dead individual I can possibly think of.

In my cut off bits box as well as the "that's too good to throw away box" I'm sure there would be an absolute fortune to be made - I just didn't think anyone would really be that stupid, however I'm obviously well and truly mistaken.

Just as a by the way -

We have this big bridge in Sydney which I have been tasked with selling for scrap. Contact me immediately with your relevant bank details if you are interested

Not interested in scrap metal, not a problem, We also have this big rock in central Australia which the Main Roads Department wants removed as it is in the way. We will be breaking it up and it should make reasonable road base for any driveway.

Well if you can get people to pay $2 a bottle for water that you can drink out of the tap for free, there must be more opportunities about.

Years ago, when I lived in Scotland, enterprising gift shops were selling granite stones polished into the shape of an egg.

The sales pitch was that they were Haggis eggs. American tourists bought out most stores and there was always a shortage.

The price was 5 pounds per egg. To put that in perspective, I was on a very good wage of 40 pounds per week in London.

The locals were besides themselves at how gullible the tourists were, but in reality it was a nice and unusual product. Marketing is a wonderful thing!

Any one interested in a "Pet Rock". Very quiet, house trained and does not eat much. Going for good price.

Live close to railway line with good supply of rocks (ballast).

I certainly trust that you will be choosing the "pets" which come from the correct side of those tracks and not the ferals from the wrong side.

Default Tax the air we breathe

Not the wrong business, the wrong MARKET!

People always want novelty. It's programmed into us. This guy has been clever and found a way to tap into that...

Here's an idea for you scrap pilers...get all your scraps, glue them into big cubes, say 20cm to a side so they weigh exactly 1kg and call them Carbon Offset Units.

Sell them to people for $20.

They can buy 3 or 4 a week and ameliorate their guilt!
