Amazing woodwork video from 1923
I don't know whether you guys have seen this or not but its a video of traditional woodworking in Sweden from 1923, these guys have some skill, I like the 2 man hand plane and just the fact everything is so utilitarian but perfect for the job.

I got the video OK. That wood must be very soft, and those tools must be very sharp.

what impressed me was the final planing AFTER the chair was assembled.
as to the apparent speed of the workers -- I'm guessing that like much of the older B&W footage the original was filmed at 18 frames per secomnd and we're watching it replayed at 25 framesregards from Alberta, Canada
