American Poplar Substitute
Hi.
I'm going to make a projector screen based upon an American design (3m x 1.4m).
The designer says poplar is the ideal choice for the frame as it's not prone to warping.
The frame for the screen will use approximately 25mm x 75mm wood.
Can anyone recommend a suitable wood here in Sydney that is pretty much warp-free in a non-air-conditioned living room.
Thank you.
