Hi,
Thank you for reading my question.

Wattyl Stylwood is a pre-catalysed nitrocellulose lacquer, thinned with industrial universal thinner.

Feast Watson's Sanding Sealer is thinned with turps if sprayed. Turps is used with enamels, not lacquers.

Normally, you shouldn't apply lacquer over enamel, but in this case, its over a sanding sealer , albeit turps thinned.

Can anybody confirm from experience if the Stylwood, thinned with universal thinner, can be sprayed over the Feast Watson Sanding Sealer ?

I have done some test pieces of Stylwood onto the sanding sealer with no reaction , and even applied the universal thinner for Stylwood direct onto the sanding sealer surface with no adverse reaction.

Nevertheless, I would like to hear if someone has ever done this application using a spray gun, on say ,a larger flat surface like a coffee table, where the Stylwood will lie on the surface for a while.

Thank you.
