    Default The Ballarat Wood Show.

    Hi All,
Well if you didn't make it to this Show, you certainly Missed out, but then it was in Vic.

This was the Best one I have attended over the last few years, & like some others, it was getting a bit tired, but, then the People Concerned took the bit between the teeth, & turned it right around.
They asked more people to Demonstrate, & they came from all over the State.
This Stadium was packed, with People, Looking, Listening, Watching & of course Buying a lot of Wares available.
I went Sat. & met a few old friends, & it was on again Sunday.
I've had a busy weekend, but a good one.
    Regards,
    issatree.

Yes issatree, it certainly was a good show.Congratulations to the Ballarat Woodworkers Guild on the improvements to the format.
It was good to see the diverse range of rolling demonstrations on show. Woodcarvers, woodturners, scrollsawers, boxmakers. Lots of stall holders.

Well done to the Ballarat Woodworkers Guild, not just for the show but all the other community work you do.
This was my first time to the show and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't quite know what to expect but it was certainly worth the trip.
Thanks to Carrols and the other traders there and it was good to see Stu there with the Torque work centre
It was a shame that I was there on Sunday, the wife saw a lovely blackbut bowl and went looking for a suitable blank to buy for me but I guess a lot of the best turning blanks had been picked up on the Saturday.
I will definately be heading over for next years.

Dammit. Sounds like it was a beauty. Just like the last few years, I missed it AGAIN doing stuff for other people and was too late finishing to make it

    Next year...he says again.
