Use for this wood, and what type is it?
I was given these pieces of timber from father in law (the small ones) and was wondering if they are American softwood? they are quite soft and have lovely red/white colour. I put a couple through the thicknesser, but the wider ones are too wide, and was thinking would you cut these so they will fit through the thicknesser (318mm max) and then join them by biscuits.
The long ones are hardwood from and old carport I took down and gave them a few passes to clean them up, they currently are used for moving my pool table around, I put them on a 500kg trolley lifter.
I have even considered using the large piece for a basin base, dig a bit out of the middle so a basin for a bathroom fits inside??
